This is a 12-week study for children ages 4 to 11 with persistent asthma to assess the efficacy and safety of Ciclesonide, an anti-inflammatory inhaled corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the lungs. Compensation will be awarded at the completion of the study for time and travel.

Your child will possibly qualify if he or she

• Has a history of persistent asthma symptoms
• Does not mind having blood drawn twice during the study (a topical anesthetic numbing cream is available)
